On our most recent trip to Puerto Vallarta in the Mexican state of Jalisco we got a good look around the Old Town.
It looked like the whole town had had a face lift... from the streets to the paint on the buildings.
Apparently the tourist trade has done wonders for the city.
Most of these photos below were taken in 2017 on the outskirts of the city where improvement were not apparent yet.
